Alaa Soliman is a Professor of Macroeconomics at University Vitez and senior lecture in economics at Leeds Beckett University, UK. His scholarly work focuses specifically on energy economics, environmental economics, sustainability and policy for sustainable energy. His fields of expertise include financial economics, monetary economics, financial development, and applied macroeconomics. Graduated in Economics, Prof. Soliman teaches at Vitez, Zhejiang University of Technology, China and Leeds Business School. Currently he is a guest editor of International Journal of Financial Studies (IJFS) and has published peer-reviewed research papers in several high-ranked academic journals such as Energy Economics, International Journal of Finance& Economics, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Environmental Management, Annals of Operations Research, The Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Research in International Business and Finance, Research in International Business and Finance and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade. He has also published and edited books on Economics Growth and Financial Development and Recent Development in Green Finance, Green Growth and Carbon Neutrality.
